How It Works
1. Spray onto a dry surface - For best results, apply Scum Bum directly to a dry surface so it’s not diluted by water.
2. Let it dwell for 5–20 minutes - Allow Scum Bum to sit for 5 to 20 minutes, depending on how much buildup you’re tackling.
3. Scrub until smooth - Wipe in circular motions using your scrubbing pad, or agitate with your professional cleaning brush. The surface should start to feel smooth as the buildup loosens.
4. Rinse or wipe away grime - Once the scum is broken down, simply rinse or wipe it away!

Yes! Scum Bum is non-toxic and biodegradable, with no bleach, ammonia, or harsh chemicals. It's safe for your home and powerful enough for professional use. We don’t put anything in our products that we wouldn’t use around our own families.
It depends on the level of buildup! For light grime, 5–10 minutes is usually enough. For heavy deposits, give it up to 20 minutes to work its magic before scrubbing.
We do not recommend using Scum Bum on natural stone surfaces like marble, granite, or travertine. The acid in the formula can etch or damage stone. Always test on an inconspicuous area first if unsure—or stick to stone-safe cleaners like Sh-Clean for those surfaces.
Yes! Scum Bum is great for removing mineral rings and buildup in your toilet. Spray it on the inside of a dry bowl (after flushing), let it sit, scrub, and flush again.
Yes! Scum Bum is non-toxic and biodegradable, which makes it safe for septic systems when used as directed.

So glad I finally ordered Scum Bum. Two things had kept me from ordering the name and the price. The first reason was silly and the second was because I had never invested in a cleaner at that level before. I am so glad I did. I hate scrubbing the tub/shower so it gets neglected and we have hard water. I used most of the first bottle to thoroughly spray down the whole shower top to bottom used a scrub brush just to spread it more evenly and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. I was able to get the first layer off with light scrubbing. The next day I did another round but broke it into sections again letting it set several minutes first. This time it took the rest of the hard water and soap scum completely. The cleaner smell isn’t any stronger than vinegar and more pleasant. It also seems to leave a little bit of a barrier to buildup after cleaning. The water almost beads up. I have recommended it to family and friends now.

I am seriously amazed. My stainless steel sink is six years old, and I live where there is very hard water. My water softener broke right after I had the sink installed, and it looked really bad. I’ve cleaned 13 showers with hard water on the glass doors so far with this product. It does a decent job on the hard water spots but it does leave some behind. I feel like it may take care of most of the remaining spots after a few cleans. I have an issue with how strong the smell is. I have to spray it on and leave the bathroom with the fan running for awhile before going back in. Learned that after the first time using it, breathed it in and couldn’t stop coughing. Overall a great product.
